A standard 60minute set will be roughly 20 songs but you don't have to choose the playlist for the whole day, that's my job! You are able to let me know in advance of any favourites you see and I will include them throughout the day. Live performance can be quite a flexible thing; reading the audience is essential and is something you only learn through trial and error over years!
If your ceremony and reception take place in two completely separate venues (eg Church and reception venue), with driving between, there is a £50 surcharge. There is no extra charge for moving between rooms or indoors/outdoors in the same venue.
You and your guests are more than welcome to sing along from the dancefloor but, unfortunately, I can't bring anyone else into the performance area or let them use my performance equipment.
Your first dance is a special moment for you as a couple, so my main advice would be to choose a song that has personal meaning to you together. If you're really struggling, let me know and I can send over some popular choices
Of course! If I have the song and I can work it into the set, I'm more than happy to play it!
I keep things very simple! All I need is access to plug sockets and a 3mx2m space for performance. If I'm with you for the Platinum or Gold packages, I'll also need food/drinks provided
To confirm a date as yours, we just need to fill in a booking contract and take a deposit. The deposit is 25% of the performance fee. You will receive another invoice roughly one month before your date for the remainder of the fee & any travel charges.
It’s essential that I know about any access, height restrictions and/or parking restrictions in advance. If there are unforeseen access and/or parking restrictions it can cause very long delays.
I can happily provide wireless microphones for your ceremony, if required. There is a small charge for this, based on how many microphones are needed, so please ask for an accurate price.
If I'm with you for the Silver or Platinum packages, one wireless microphone is included in the package that you can use for your speeches. If you have a Master/Mistress of Ceremonies, they are more than welcome to use this for announcements throughout the day as well.
I do provide background music for the breaks between sets and this can either be supplied by myself or you can send me a Spotify playlist, if you would prefer to be a bit more in control. This is not counted as a DJ section and it will just be a playlist left on shuffle.
